PartWeb (“we,” “our,” “us”) is operated by Dharm Shree Divine. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the PartWeb platform, including our mobile application and website.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account Information: Name, business name, phone number, email address, GST details (where applicable), and business address provided during registration as a workshop or vendor.
• Transaction Information: Part requests, quotations, order details, quantities, prices, pickup verification codes, and payment records.
• Payment Information: We do not store your card, UPI, or banking details. All payment processing is handled directly and securely by our payment partner, Razorpay, which is PCI-DSS compliant. We only receive confirmation of payment status (success/failure) and transaction reference IDs.
• Voice Data: If you use our voice-based inventory or sale recording features, audio is processed through our speech-to-text partner (Sarvam AI) to generate text transcripts. We do not permanently store raw audio recordings beyond what is necessary to complete the transcription.
• Device and Usage Information: App usage patterns, device type, and log data to help us improve the platform and diagnose issues.
• Location Information: General location (city/region) for the purpose of matching workshops with nearby vendors, where applicable.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To connect workshops with relevant vendors based on brand and part category
• To process and verify payments for part orders
• To generate pickup verification codes and confirm order fulfillment
• To maintain transaction and sales history for your account
• To provide customer support
• To improve and personalize the PartWeb experience
• To comply with legal and regulatory obligations under Indian law

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

• With Vendors/Workshops: Relevant business details (name, contact, part request details) are shared between matched workshops and vendors to facilitate transactions.
• With Payment Partners: Transaction details are shared with Razorpay solely to process payments. Razorpay's handling of your payment data is governed by Razorpay's own Privacy Policy.
• With Service Providers: We use third-party services (Firebase/Google Cloud for data storage, Sarvam AI for voice transcription) strictly to operate the platform. These providers are bound to use your data only for the services they provide us.
• For Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, court order, or government request, including to the RBI, banks, or financial institutions as required under the Payment and Settlement Systems Act, 2007, and the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Firebase/Google Cloud infrastructure with industry-standard encryption and access controls. We do not store sensitive payment credentials (card numbers, CVV, etc.) on our servers, in compliance with RBI's Card-on-File Tokenization guidelines.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and transaction data for as long as your account is active and as required to comply with our legal and tax obligations. You may request deletion of your account data by contacting us, subject to retention requirements under applicable law.

6. Your Rights

You may:

• Access and review the information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your account, subject to legal retention requirements
• Withdraw consent for non-essential data processing (e.g., marketing communications)

7. Children's Privacy

PartWeb is a business-to-business platform intended for use by workshop and vendor business owners and staff. We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under 18 years of age.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of PartWeb after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
